安永正臣 -Empty Parade- 展 -Masaomi Yasunaga Solo Exhibition-

一般的にやきものは土で形成し窯で焼成して制作しますが、
安永さんの作品は釉薬や、ガラスを使い形を形成し、砂や山土の中に埋めて焼成して作られます。
そうすることにより、ガラス状で光をうっすら透す作品や、纏ったものを剥がし器の骨格だけを残した出土品の様な風化した雰囲気の作品が生まれます。
今回の展示はEmpty Creature(空虚な生き物)の行進をテーマに個展を致します。
皆様の記憶に残る、そんな展示会になる事を願っています。

Generally, pottery is shaped by clay and put in a furnace to be baked, however the potteries which Mr. Yasunaga created are shaped by glazes and also by glasses, and buried under mountains or sands to be baked.
This process gives the potteries being hyaline which slightly through the light and also creates the potteries it’s like weathered articles by leave only its flame after peel off everything else on the surface.
“March of Empty Creature” is the theme of this exhibition.
Wish this exhibition will be in everyone’s memory forever.
